Heated side veiw mirror w/signal????

So, lemme preface this with "I sure hope Mr. I chimes in on this". So, on to my question. I've got an 06C and the turn signal thing in the mirror is negligable but I really wanted the heated mirror function of some later model C's.

I know with the turn signal feature, you have to get the part, add the function to your VIN and reflash. Is that the same with the heated mirror part?

Restate: Are there heated side view mirrors available for a 2006 300C. If not, can some be retrofitted?

if you have auto dim then your mirrors are heated, and activated via the rear window defroster.. ALL 300c with the internal/external Auto Dim mirrors are also heated..

if you want the 2007-2009 mirrors that are auto dim/heated and have turn signal arrow, you can buy the replacement glass from the dealer from a 2007 or newer car that has the option..

I don't have my parts guide handy right now, but if you send me a pm I'll look it up when I can.

the shape of the mirror housing is the same for all years thus far..


the glass with heated/auto dim/ signal LED for left and right side is MSRP of $285 EACH (just for the mirror glass, not the housing)

you will have to run the signal wires to the wire harness under the passenger side carpet and tap the rear turn signal leads, same as you do for the mirror cap LEDS like I have..

yes our mirrors are heated, they don't have the heated symbol on them, but if you have the Drivers side auto dim option then you have heated mirrors.
