Halo Wiring?

Hello guys, I am finally working on my halo's for the C. I dont have any wiring instructions so i was hoping someone can help me out with step-by-step instructions. The halos i have are white 8000k CCFL from AAC if that matters. Thanks guys!

I check out that wiring in the morning as I wired mine to the Parking lights. At dawn and dusk I can use just the Halo's,which I think looks pretty cool

I used to run CCFL halos, here is how I installed mine so that I could run them with the parking lights.
FYI, I never had any problem with the AAC CCFL halos, I moved to LED halos because they were much brighter and showed better under a Texas sun.

On the back of the 300c headlight housing, find the running light/turn signal bulb socket.

You will find three wires labled 1,2 and 3.

The black wire on the inverter goes to wire 1 and the red wire on the inverter goes to 2

When your halos are connected to this point they come on anytime your parking lights are on. Since the halos are rated at 30,000 hours I just run them all the time. If you turn your headlight switch to the off position the halos are off as well.

Here is a shot showing how the Oracle inverter would connect. The inverter has 3/4 inch long pins on the power supply wires. Simply push these pins all the way into the opening the wire goes into until the pin is completely inserted and no longer visible. You may need to use a tool such as a punch or screwdriver to get the last few millimeters of the pin in.

Then just drape the inverter over the top and double side tape them down.

The inverters draw less than an amp so there are no issues tapping into here.
Don't use wire three or your halos will blink with your turn signals!

As a side note I ran one inverter per halo and was able to connect two inverters to each headlight housing.

One last tip, get some heat shrink tubing and make sure that the plugs that connect to the halos themselves are sealed up water tight.
Shorting across the halo socket is the number one way to kill the inverter.
I cut the plugs off, soldered and heat shrunk wrapped all my connections to ensure they were all water-tight/proof.

Thumbs down **UPDATE** Bad news!

looks like there will be a delay on my "Project: Halo" due to a cracked ring...yes, thats right, i accidentally cracked the large ring so i will need to order a replacement. I sent AAC a PM but i will call Andy Monday morning to place my order...does anyone know off the top of their head, how much one large replacement halo would cost?

That is exactly the way I did mine. I also added short amounts of heavier wire the the inverters so I could mount them outside the headlight assembly. Just solder and use heat shrink tubing.
