Question best way to tint headlights and fogs?

some of the only things left on my car that aren't black yet are my front lights and fogs. Any recommendations on a film or cover that works well without killing light output to bad? Ive tried several films and I can never really seem to get a good result. Any vendors carry a good cover? Ive seen a few on ebay but not sure about quality.

try Jon's Tinted Tails | Home Page or check at your local tint shop. I wouldnt do the covers personally. They dont look as nice.

I think they only do tails but ill look into them. I agree, the covers tend to look alittle tacky. Thats why i havent gone with them yet.

u know those sunglasses that turn dark when you step into sunlight and then turn clear when you are indoors?..

ive always wondered why that exact effect cannot be REVERSED and used for tinting headlights - so, when your headlights are on the tint turns clear and when they are off the tint is dark.

that would probably make them legal here in Aus (and i really want tinted lights!)

Why can't you go the film route? I would think it wouldn't look too bad since its only the foglights, being that they're not as big as the headlights/tail lights.

Looking for the headlights also. Im more than open to suggestions on film I just want to make sure its a film someone can vouch for as far as fitment and quality.

Doh! Missed the headlights... I haven't tried any films but how much does Jon's Tinted Tails charge? Are they too expensive?

Im sure there not bad but I cant ship out my headlights for a week. Ill probably just end up heading to a local tint shop and see if they can custom fit something for me.
