Challenger SRT8 Hood test fit

Well i had some spare time today and decided to install the chally hood thank you cleavland pic a part once again!

Well in a nut shell its too wide and too long! thats all there is to it, as long as you or the person doing the work is good with aluminum cutting and welding its a breeze to narrow and shorten it.

Most important you can use your LX hood hinges and the chally hood lines up to your LX hood latch.

anyways more on this later heres some pics.
Its dark in my garage sorry! ill take more pics in the day light

lol its going to be sweet when its done im thinking i got a spare lx hood, i may cut out the center portion of the chally hood and retrofit it into the spare 300 hood i have.
im brainstorming ideas here

yeah a good friend of mine is great with welding aluminum but, i may get my regular body shop guy to do this for me might charge me about 700 bucks not too bad

Yeah sad thing is those pics are with the garage open! were getting hit by some serious rain and wind the last few days supposed to be letting up but guess not.

I am following this fo sheezy!

I'd like to see a classic GM Cowl Air Induction hood for the 300, with the cowl being as wide as the top of the grille surround.
