Hey guys just wanted to say hello. I picked up a 2006 SRT8 today. Previously I owned a C5 Corvette, a supercharged Audi A4 3.0, and before that a tt 300zx. I hope to learn a lot about this beast of a car from everyone on this forum!

Here I have my 2006 300c SRT8 for sale with 39k miles (may go up as I drive the car occasionally) On the inside the car still smells new, no cracks in the leather, the blacked out interior with carbon fiber accents looks gorgeous! Also the entire car was repainted so the exterior is excellent. Tires only have 3k miles on them....

Any issues with the car?

Once there is an interested buyer I will take the car to the dealership of their choice and have it looked over, if anything is found I will have them fix it and will pay for any repairs out of pocket before the car is transferred to the new owner

Any accidents?

Yes the car was in an accident approximately 3 years ago, it needed the front bumper, headlights, hood and one fender replaced, no frame damage, no suspension damage, no engine damage.

Anything else?

Yes there is a pretty wild headliner in the car (floral print) upon request the buyer can pick any headliner they choose and I will install for the asking price.

Title status?

Title in hand, no liens on the car, title status states the car was in a "prior collision" but is repaired

Everything on the vehicle is in good condition, electronics operate fine, everything is fully functional, she drives straight and true.

Interested in trades?

Not really.... but potentially looking for an inexpensive 4 door car plus cash (at least 13-14k cash)


What do I get with the car?

You get the car, all modifications, checked out at local dealer, headliner of your choice, along with 4 300c rims to mount winter tires to, I will also throw in an HID foglight kit and whatever else I have kicking around my garage.

im about to pull the trigger on the diablo intune programmer since I read on diablo that there is no way to prove the pcm was modded with a tune if you unload it before going to a dealer trip.

now on to my question, does the diablo intune allow you to make custom tune, if I go to my local dyno shop will he be able to work on a tune and save it so I can switch it between custom and canned tune to see if there is real difference, do you think a custom tune can snap me more gain vs the canned 93 tune? or im throwing money by the window trying to custom tune a 5.7
(cold air and cat back for now, prolly headers soon)

they include 3 tune, 87 which say give more mpg..can we even run 87 octane on the hemi? will it really change anything in mpg.

Im planning to pick up headers at the same time so ill prolly have to turn off MDS, what are my best options to maintain a clean deep growl but not too loud, I want something like i already said ''deep''...would shorty with mid high flow serve me best? or long tubes with high flow/with out?

Looking to replace the chrome piece on the top of the bumper. It is all scratched up. Dealer says it is no longer available separate. Anyone replace this have any ideas on parts?

Do I need to replace the entire clock or is the bulb replaceable? And if I have to replace it where should I get one. Ebay is fine but their all used and the bulb could go out at any time. And I'm sure the dealer want's like $200 or some rediculous number.

I had opened a ticket to inquire about the failure of Uconnect to display some album artwork and incorrectly display some track information.

If you search the internet, you will come across many discussions around this on many different forums for all manor of vehicles, from dodge, jeep, and chrysler.

As of now, the speculation is over. It was confirmed in my assistance request to Uconnect that their system is hard-coded to make use of the Gracenote database, exclusively. Meaning you will not see any album artwork if Gracenote doesn't find the album.

Any plans to resolve this? No
Any plans to update Gracenote? No

So what I was told is that my ticket was used to confirm that this is the expected design of the system.

That's it.

I guess this is what happens when not enough people complain about the way something functions.

So what I'm asking now, is that if anyone has any issue with the way Uconnect handles any function that they make sure to contact Chrysler, so that they understand the nature of these issues and do not take their customers for granted on simple items such as this.

If you have any of the problems, note them and contact them:

1. Album artwork or incorrect info display for USB/SD card.
2. Apple product issues via USB or Bluetooth
3. Lack of metadata when bluetooth streaming
4. Lack of messaging support (a safety item IMO)

What is likely to happen is that the refresh of Uconnect that is coming will correct many of these and leave anyone with the previous generation (such as rb5 8.4n) out in the cold.

I recently removed the "suitcase" muffler on my 5.7 and left on the resonators. Replaced with two Magnaflow XL mufflers. They are three-chambered-the quieter ones.

The change gave me a LITTLE rumble on start up and idle and some during acceleration but nothing I would call aggressive by any stretch. In fact, I am not sure you could hear it on a video so I didn't even post it up. I did notice more response in the throttle tho, which is nice.

I am tinkering with a resonator delete. Can anyone testify who followed this process? Where you happy with it? Anything annoying in the sound?

I have a CAI, 170 TStat and a Predator so I have MDS off already. I know I can save the parts and reverse it if need be but I'm always interested in other's input.

Is it too much to ask a modern 5.7 HEMI to get close to the proper American muscle noise of the Mustangs and Challengers of over 40 years ago?

Obvious this comes from having watched the entire series of Fast and Furious movies in the space of a week.

But can any intake/exhaust combo come close?
