I have had a lot of municipalities and shops that do work for them call me the last 2 weeks. Apparantly, Chrysler has a national back order on the tension rods (radius rod) and the control arms, due to a significant failure of the bushings. I have been told by multiple guys that the earliest ETA is late January 2010. The complaints that all of them are describing are loud noises, shimmies and shakes, and stability concerns. Now they are all police intercept vehicles. As far as I can tell by looking at 100s of these parts, there may only be 2 styles: one for SRT8 upgraded and not. the difference is the amount of voids in the bushings are different. Just a heads up to everyone.

Now how can Pedders help: we have lots of our Pedders control arm bushings available.
Here are the parts the police shops are asking for:
Watch this video of Paul driving on the autocross and being chased by a ZR1 on the track. Noitce the serious control and lack of body role going flat out, as well as the fore/aft balance where there is no lift or dive. Then notice the ZR!. It has more body role that the Pedders Camaro
Being at SEMA is like a little kid in a candy store that you can sample anything you want. I saw literally thousands of vehicles. Many stood out, but there was one than stood out more than others. This vehicle not only looked off the charts awesome, but was, in my opinion, the best display of any vehicle at SEMA. This Challenger is a 9 second machine, that is also can compete in any car show in the world. Drum role please.........................

RDP MOTORSPORTS, out of Painseville, OH, is a off the charts builder of custom rides. Owned by Dyno Steve, and definately an Aussie for sure mate, turns our cool rides into rocket ships, and competes with the Mona Lisa on esthetics.

I had the great honor of sharing bread with the King, Richard Petty, the last race he ran at Searspoint Raceway, which is now Infinion Raceway a number of years ago. There are great men, and then there is King Richard. He truly is a great man and generous to those that could need help without asking.

Richard is noted for making SERIOUSLY special vehicles, then auctioning them off for charity. His most recent one is a featured vehicle that made its debut yesterday at SEMA. It is a off the charts Challenger, and is, of coarse painted Petty Blue top, bottom and in the middle. We were really honored that they called us and asked us to participate in their specialty build. We were really honored to be part of this great project.

Here are some pictures to document the car and the excitement of the day:

Here is a picture of the King just being with everyone and excited about the car and being with everyone:

Here is a picture of Pete, Richard Petty, and Eric from Arrington who built the killer motor:

We were all so excited to be in the presence of this great American Icon. But he paid Pedders the biggest honor that you can give. He told Pete that he only wears custom made boots that fit him perfectly and than the Pedders suspension is the perfect match for the Challenger, just like his boots! We are so honored to be part of his great project.

Now the killer Challenger:

Hope you all enjoy this moment with us. Sema this year was off the charts great for Pedders

thanks
