I'm watching Pass Time right now. It's the turbo edition episode.

A '98 Mustang had these mods...

- 427 small block ford
- single 114mm turbo
- 35 lbs boost
- powerglide
- running C23

(most of that ^^^ stuff is over my head anyways)

Anyways, the stang ran a 7.327 at 191.82 - which has got to be the fastest I've seen on this program.

Anyways, all I could think about was how bad it would be to see that in person - especially judging by the reactions of the people there.

So, what is the fastest time you have ever seen and what kind of car? And besides that, what's the fastest time for a 300 that you have witnessed?

Note to Moderator: This might be a good thread to make a sticky!

Before I found this free set of calculators, I came across several other websites that charged money for some of the same calculators (paid subscription required). Those greedy bastards. I hope these calculators come in handy for everyone.

Will be getting some better rubber in spring since I have yet to 60ft better than 2.15 w the rsa's. They don't do much prep on discount nites so I guess u get what u payfor. I'm happy to be in the 12's, but thinking thAt 13.0 pass wouldve been pretty darn good if I couldve pulled a 2.0 60ft.

Finally got the hang of launching this car after the third run. The first three were all run pretty close to each other. I'm sure the long cool down time before the 4th run helped the ET/MPH.

Next up I'll be putting in this 180 thermostat and we'll see if I can get back to the track in a few weeks and improve it a little bit.

Oh so close to the 12s. :dead1:

Thanks again EricG for the invite!! We decided to get a few of us together at Edgewater for some T&T fun. There was Eric, Mike, Matt, a couple of Matt's friends and I. Some of my customers even showed up to watch, and one of them to run. We thought it was just going to be T&T and it turns out there was another event going on. IT WAS PACKED!!! I have never seen so many 9 second cars at what was supposed to be a T&T, and it was fun to watch them run.

Nothing spectacular to report on my end. First run I decided to test the track and flash the converter. Well, that was:pat: a dumb idea!!! Spun so bad off the line that I had to come completely out of it and then ease back in. Posted a 12.8 when I also quit too early (first time to this track and misjudged the finish line...lol). Second run a bit better as I eased into it a bit and got some great feedback from Eric. 60' of 1.90, time of 12.45 and trap of 111.67 (still a low trap). Third almost identical to second with a time of 12.44 and trap of 111.62. If I can get some grab with my DR's, I might post something respectable. Good news is I have my tranny tune dialed in. No limp mode fiasco and solid shifts all the way through.

Eric posted some solid runs and Matt has some major tuning issues. After running his 11.73 a couple weeks ago, he has got some misfires happening that I hope he tracks down.

As I was switching tires I stripped a lug nut. Too damn dark to see. Get that fixed tomorrow. I also fried my cig lighter socket trying to jerry rig my bottle heater (which did not work). Unfortunately, the cig lighter is where I have my cutouts wired to. Hence, I had to drive home with them open (thank the lord I did not get pulled over).

Overall a very enjoyable evening. Could not help but laugh at one person who broke down. Something broke right off the line. He slowly coasted to just under the 1,000' area. Stopped and TURNED ON HIS EMERGENCY FLASHERS!! I guess you may have had to be there to find this funny, and all of us at the fence watching were laughing. It's like, "Dude!! You are not on a highway!!"

Anyhow, enough of my punch drunk commentary from being tired. Had a great time and thanks to EricG again.
