An important note, issued by the Red Cross and the
Rescue Organizations:

The RTW and ambulance drivers have noticed that when the accident
Most of the wounded a mobile phone with him have. When injured
Persons who are no longer accessible, but to know the forces
not who should be contacted for the long address lists.

Ambulance drivers and paramedics have therefore proposed that each in his
Mobile phone address book, the Emergency Contact person, under the same
Pseudo-types.

The internationally recognized pseudo is: ICE (= In Case of Emergency).

Under this name you should enter the phone number of the person who in
Emergency call by the police, fire or first aid is.
When several persons to contact, you need ICE1, ICE 2, ICE 3, etc.

Easy to implement, costs nothing, but can achieve a lot.

Hi Guys,

I'm toying with giving in to Sky and paying the diabolical additional charge of £10/month for HD, but finding some info on the HD box is turning out to be a bit of a pain.

So I wondered if anyone here would have some input. Is there only 1 manufacturer of the Sky+ HD box or is it a case of many manufacturers all using the same SKY housing for their own internal hardware? If there are many manufacturers which one is considered best and why?

The box has an HDMI output for HDTV, but does it only have one HDMI output? Do I have to use the optical output for surround sound or can I use the HDMI cable to the surround sound system then out to the TV or does it have a 2nd HDMI out which can be used for sound?

And the main point - will SD channels look crap when viewed from the HD box? I've seen sooo many setups where they Sky HD box gives great HD images to the TV, but when watching a SD channel the image is WORSE than it was with the Standard Sky box.

I spent a heck of a long time when choosing my current setup to ensure SD channels looked good on my TV because there are/were a lot of HD TV's and kit out there which concentrate only on HD processing and so SD suffered as a result. I hate watching SD TV where there are artefacts, grainy images, poor panning etc.

Any input, opinions, info etc would be great.

Cheers,

Mechanics were supposed to be fixing a leaky radiator, but when the owner of a £30,000 Vauxhall Monaro car collected it from the local garage, he discovered it had been taken on a joyride at speeds of 125mph.

The owner of the car, who doesn’t want to be named, had installed a Roadhawk black-box recorder three months earlier.

Oh dear, oh dear.

There is a video in the link that is worth watching :)

I reckon this may happen more often that people think !

Me being me, I kinda fell for the car, its an amazing drive, BUT on having it over a month now its so focussed and extreme its getting on my t*ts. Dont get me wrong, its bloody quick, has the most amazing interior and handles well, but Im passed all that now, and should have stuck it out.

So what now? Ive a beautiful looking type r sitting there, which one half of me thinks.. "F*ck yeah!" and the other half of me thinks "what have I done" lol.

Anyone fancy re-living their youth with a Type R at all? lol.

A*se. :pat:
