I'm about ready to replace my rear tires. Based on what I've learned here at this forum and some track experiences with people who have them, I've already pretty much decided I'm getting the Toyo Proxes 4.

Now I'm trying to decide if I should go with 255s all the way around or if I should stagger with 245s in front and 255s or 275s in the back. I'm not concerned about tire rotation and I like the staggered look better, but I'm not as interested in looks as I am in performance. I want better grip, especially in terms of standing start acceleration. The RSAs are a big disappointment in this area, so I figure the Toyos will be much better, especially if I go with wider tires.

My first choice would be to put 245s in front and 275s in back. Will the 275s provide better grip than 255s? What would you recommend? What kind of improvement in my 60 ft. times can be expected with the Toyos? Can you think of any other considerations, such as handling improvement with the tire combinations I mentioned? Sorry about having so many questions. I just want to make sure I do the right thing.

EDIT: By the way, I've got the stock 20" SRT8 rims.

I want to change the rims and tires on my 300c 3.5 2005...

I would like to keep the rims in size 18' but what I would like to know is what size of the tires that would fit them without the need to do any modifications...

currently the tire size is 225/60/18...

would this set (tire&rims) fit my car?

so, this one would be : 265/40R/18Y - would that type of tire suite my 300c?!

I currently have 22's on my car - they were on there when I purchased it recently. I've noticed that the tire pressure fluctuates a bit, so I'm wondering if there's a way to determine what optimal pressure is? I'm guessing it's different from recommended pressure on the stock/factory tires. The tires are Toyo Proxes - not sure about the sidewall height off the top of my head but that can be remedied, obviously.
They're sitting at around 35/36 most of the time, though depending on the weather I've been them down as low as 32/33-ish.

Does anyone know if 20x9.5 inch rims will fit a 300? they have a 25mm offset and they are already on my back porch. The guy said they would fit and i took his word, but when i took them out the box i noticed how wide they were, could somone plz give me some reassurance lol

Does anybody have Charger Rims on a 300. Found these on ebay and was wondering what they would look like on a 300. Anybody have any pictures.

I am looking at getting 20's SRT rims and its down to Chrome or Black chrome. I can't seem to find a 300C with black chrome rims on it. Does anyone want to photo shope them on there for me or does anyone have any pics of them on a 300?

hi guys i've ordered some new 22"s in september and they sould arrive any day now but i'm gonna sell the 300 in a month or 2 cause the lazy engine getting on my nerves so i'm gonna go for a euro 300C 3.0CRD so will my rims fit that 3.0CRD?if yes i will hold them for the C

So some of you are familiar with the dilemmas I am having getting rims for this car. I'm finally found a set of 22" rims I like that will accomodate the AWD (woohoo!)
Next challenge is what tires to get for them. There are a few issues at hand here.

1) What tire size to run? This will determine what rubber I run with.
2) Who makes a drop kit for this vehicle? Will I be ok to drop it on the 22s in the summer and still run my 18s in the winter without issue? Is there another option I'm not aware of?
3) Noting the above, would a damper kit/sway bars be worth installing? What are the benefits of it?
4) Would the above installs be possible to do myself with a lift? Is it reasonable to do, or leave it to the experts?
5) Assuming number 4 is no, any recommend shops around here? Hate driving to Toronto every time I want/need something done. I got other stuff that needs doing to.

I am looking to get rims for my 2005 300C RWD. I have been looking at the SRT replicas but I am not sure if I want to go 20's or 22's. I mean I can get 22's for $300 dollars more. I have been looking at either the chrome rims or the black chrome SRT rims, but I can't find a 300C with black chrome SRT rims, so I don't know what they look like on a car.

If you have any input, let me know. This is 300C so you can maybe get a feel for what rims to choose. I want to spend like 2200 dollars on rims and tires, so if there is a rim that looks like the SRT but nicer, let me know. Oh, and I was really wanting Sevas S10 (Chrome) rims ,but they don't make them.

I have asked lots of questions regarding to the SRT8 wheels on 300C. Now it is done on my 300C. I was worried about the riding quality, but i guess i definately made a right choice. In my opinion, if the riding quality on stock 300c was 10, with the SRT8 wheels, its about 8.5 or 9. Considering i am very sensitive, its prettey good.

My camera is currently not working, so i had to use my phone to make a picture, sorry about the poor quality of the picture.

p.s. i also want to see other 300Cs with SRT8 or SRT designs rims on. If anyone has it, please put some pics on the reply. Thanks

Before anyone says anything yes I searched the main three lx forums to death, couldn't overly find the answer I was looking for.

I have some SRT 20's with 255/45/20 tires mounted up (all 4 corners), will a 3mm spacer be enough for the front or should I go to a 5mm spacer?

My knuckles have been slightly modded to clear some 22's that rubbed a smidge with 265/35/22's (all I did was used a mini air grinder with some sanding disks and cleared a smidge of the material away...it was a small amount and I felt safer doing that than running a spacer at the time) so I am not even sure what I will need till I test fit but I just want to see if anyone has ran a 255/45/20 on a SRT rim on a non SRT car before and what the outcome was.

want to see pics of 300 srt-8 only with multi pc forged wheels. size, width and deepness of lips.

Anyone here from the Tampa area? I need to get my fendors rolled and looking for a place that does it. I just put some 24s on my car and when there is weight in the back or big dips my tires catch the fendor - dont want to be getting new tires in a month.

For all the guys with the AWD C's this is for you.

It is so hard to find the correct fitment for the AWD, the Factory Reproduction AWD wheel is the safest bet. I loved the look of the chrome charger SRT replicas on my ride so much I purchased a set of the black with machine face for the winter. Living in Michigan I did not want to mess up my chrome , the salt will play havoc on the chrome. So I purchased a set of the Black with Machine Face and man I am very happy with them. I like the look so much I am thinking of selling the chrome and sticking with the black with machine faced year round.
