Well guys I'm sad to inform you that last night my "C" and I went our seperate ways. I traded it for a '10 Malibu LTZ. I did it partially to appease the boss, but I also think the new Malibu is quite a nice car. I usually get a new vehicle every several years and I actually had the "C" for over five years which probably is a recod for me.

Anyway I'm gonna miss you guys. We went through a lot together during the early years. We also got a lot of our problems resolved such as the early vibration that we had at around 45 mph which due to our hounding the dealers they determined it was an exhaust problem and then changed our entire exhaust system. Then all of the electronic bugs we worked out. Then must recently our Conti tire settlement.

This forum has a great bunch of members. I've enjoyed conversing with you all and will miss you. Now that's not to say that when they redsign the 300 that I won't be back. You never know.

I will continue to view the forum and offer any insight and comments since I love to commiserate with all of you.

That makes sense as I have thought about my ESP issue.
My LT RT always shows a significantly higher number for the LT than the RT except on a full tank. How I think this ties into ESP is that my left tire rarely spins but my right always does. If most of the gas is parking in the left tank then that makes sense... right?

Also, when I fill up with gas, I always have to stop 3 or 4 times and pull the nozzle out a little and slow down the flow of gas into the car.

Could there be an issue with whatever seperates the two sides of the tank?

Here is where im stumped....... I am getting a U0103 code also......... After I replaced the pink thingy, I decided to use the override on the side of the shifter and try to drive the car. 1st thing I notice is that the gear position indicator on the instrument panel has no response (shows no position). Well as I drive off, everything seems normal, until I get to almost 40mph and the transmission is not shifting, feels like it is stuck in first. I parked it and this is where im at.

Please help!

So the Wifey got this new SRT10 truck and we're tring to sell the Magnum but im having second thoughts on which car I should sell.
The 300C is a great car and i have done lots of things with it and won all kinds of awards but the Magnum is just as cool and now even more rare then the 300. Both are one year only colors both have the hemi. Magnum has 63000 miles 300 has 24000 miles. I have headers and exhaust and suspention on the 300. Magnum is all stock engine wise and suspention. The 300 has a custom hood the magnum has custom eyelids. The Magnum has custom powder coated Foose rims the 300 has chrome foose rims.
Amy thinks list both for sale and see what fate says im not sure which one i would rather loose.

Let me here some opionons.

I took the car back to the shop that installed it and we fiddled with the adjustment screw / plate, but continued to have the issue regardless of it's position.

I then took it to a dealer and they are blaming the billet piece.

What could be wrong? Could it be installed incorrectly?

Driving on the tollway headed to the airport when something in my rearview mirror gets my attention. Its a beemer, several cars back, cutting in and out of traffic, flashing his headlights as he passes anyone he thinks isn't going fast enough before cutting in front of them.

The speed limit is 70, I'm doing 80 and he is working his way through traffic up to me. Sure enough, he pulls up behind me, flashes his lights and starts to pass. I let him, until he get his rear bumber about even with my front. I don't see a model number but do see a DINAN emblem. What the heck, I speed up a tad so we are side by side. I see him look over, gives me a smug look and accelerates. I do the same, side by side again.

He looks over at me, this time not so smug, and goes faster. The road ahead is a two mile straight stretch and no traffic, what the heck, no guts-no glory and I nail it. He keeps up with me as we hit about 120 then I start to pull away. I put several car lengths between us when I guess he gives up and fades back pretty quickly. As I slow down I glance at the speedo long enough to see 150 :scared:

A few minutes later I'm sitting in traffic at the airport entry toll booths when I see him pull into line a couple of lanes over. I see him spot my car and he wheels in behind me. I then see him squinting at the back of my car. I guess he was trying to read the emblems on the trunk so he would know what kind of car not to mess with next time. :)
