Hi I recently bought a used 2005 300C from a dealer here in Manila. During the purchase discussion, the dealer told me that the 300C which I intended to buy is in good condition but its Camshaft Position Sensor needs replacement due to a found defect during a routine inspection by the crew on a test drive.

At first I was like sure, no problem, one defective part on a great vehicle won't hurt. So flash forward I bought it with the intention of finding a replacement part here as soon as possible. Little did I know that Chrysler Philippines don't sell replacement parts to Chrysler owners who did not purchase their vehicle from Chrysler Philippines.

So that leaves with this question to all who will be kind enough to answer. Should I ask my brother in the USA to purchase a Camshaft Position Sensor from Chrysler USA and I was wondering how much would that cost?

Second option leaves me with purchasing online and have them shipped here to my current location. I found this site after searching and called the operator if they have the part in stock and I was in luck as they have the part in stock and ready for shipping.

Its an after-market replacement Camshaft Position Sensor by Replacment Parts Inc. which is selling around $27 each. Here's the specs:


I'll plan to purchase around x6

What do you think based on your car ownership experience? Or can you recommend another after-market brand that works best for you according to your similar experiences? Should I opt for original as much as possible or after-market parts works just fine.

Wonder if anyone could help me out with these.

I have seen some 2010 300C's at dealerships with a blacked out mesh grille. Anyone know is this an upgrade or a downgrade? Included in a package? This is for Canadian market cars.

Also, what the heck is a Quick Order Package 29T. Seen it mentioned a lot, but not what it is.

i recently purchased a beautiful 2006 chrysler 300..i love the car...had it for only a month, when i drive the car its rpm reaches over 2 it suddenly goes down..it jus started happening out the blue today!..any advice would be appreciated..thanks

sup fellas. I own a 300 srt-8 with catback and mopar intake.

Their is this guy in my apt that has a 2004 srt4 that wants to run me. He told me his mods are:

aem cold intake, downpipe with a dump, fuel pump, diablo sport tuner with modded 93 tune, stock turbo at 24 spike and hold 16 till redline, methanol/water injection kit. He said the car dynoed 294 whp and 341wtq.

So you guys think i can get him or what?

Ok, I have a 2005 300c 5.7l with around 69,000 miles. I received my predator today and did everything like it said and uploaded the 91 oct cai tune and when i started the car it hesitated really bad and i only drove it about halfway down the block and it was running like complete crap and through a code. Something to do with an air sensor. I cleared the code and shut off MDS and now its running great and fast! But any ideas on what was going on? I'd like to be able to run MDS when i make long trips and turn it on when i need it, but I mean i cant when it will barely run with MDS on.

and any realistic times i got is not saved on the ride !

Lemme start by saying everyone walked away..someone ran a red light and plowed me good. Do you guys think the insurance company will total it or fix it? If they choose to fix it, whats the likeliness that it will track funny or never be the same? The impact is centered pretty much on the right rear area...it ripped the right rear wheel off the car! The spring was found across the street and the axle pulled from the differential. I love this car....

I need some help with this one , I have a 2006 Chrysler 300c Diesel . I have recently purchased 20" Chrysler startech wheels and am having them refurbed at the moment from the standard colour to black which matches the cars colour .

However I am looking to lower the car and have decided that I will just upgrade the springs rather then going for a coilover kit.

The problem I am having is I want to get the look right with the wheels but I am having mixed opinions on the drop I should go for . The options I have is a 30mm, 35mm or 40mm

Does anyone have any pictures with these drops ? and simlair size wheels ?

The kit im looking to purchase is a KW spring set had this on my BMW was very impressed .

i test drove a black 300c today. it has 78k miles and i talked them down to $15000. what do you all think? what should i look for when inspecting the car? the front end seems louder than my other car but it may be normal? also how does the mds work, i got great mpg cruising at 1500 rpm 27mpg but at 2000rpm i got 21mpg?

Seen the ads for the airaid on aussie forums and its claiming hp gains. Does anyone have figures of horsepower gains
for any of the different cold air options.Also any personal stories of your experiences of cold air on your 300c would really be appreciated. Cheers
