tried to installed predator tune on my 2006 srt for the first time, after Disclaimer screen it gives a message " Your car might need an upgrade, please check: diablosport.com/dcx CalID: 05030234AD" when i press "continue" it takes me to reBoot screen, any idea?

the green reading of 263.6 is with Spider tuning chip, BMC airfilter and Large Intercooler.
red reading is BMC airfilter and Large intercooler.

I forgot to take the BMC out so i'm once i get the original Intercooler swapped back i'll be having the run with the BMC in, by the looks i'm expecting around 15/20BHP from the intercooler, hoping it'll be next week i get back. i'll post the results as soon as i can.

Ok Air Hammer guys, what is the diffence between Air Hammer Gen 1 and the one that you see for sale on this forum? I looks a little different but does it still work just as good. I noticed that it has a white filter instead of a red one? Any info would be appreciated. Pic attached of the one I am talking about.

Hii ,, i have a problem with my intake it come's very very very HOT the intake so the air that going inside the engine it's Hot Not like K&N CAI the intake not aluminum it's plastic ,,, the question her ??

is there any problem if the hot air going inside ??

is there any solution for it??

Hi Guys being relativly new to the forum I thought I would ask the "experienced guys" Im thinking of buying this

So I am in the beginning stages of moving from exterior mods to performance mods. Just kinda planning my attack right now. I don't plan to really do anything until the end of winter or later. Around that time, I should be hitting 60K miles.

I am going to do some of the standard maintenance stuff at 60K - plugs, needed bushings and valves, etc. I've found some pretty good info on here regarding this.

As for the mods, I've got a Jet 180 tstat and will be adding an AFE Stage II CAI, a Trinity, and I still haven't figured out what I'm doing with the exhaust. I won't be going much past that... at least for the short term.

So my questions is, are there any common problems or things I should look for or be worried about when adding these basic type of performance mods to a car that is no longer a baby - 60K? I've noticed that most people have done big work to newer cars, or in some cases completely "rebuilt" ones. But I'm just wondering if my "old" car might be stuck in her ways since she is used to the first 60K miles, and may be a little surprised with the new improvements. Any extra stuff I should do at my planned 60K mile maintenance to get her ready for the new performance changes?

I am looking at changing my tune from 93 CAI to 91 CAI to see if there is any any noticeable improvement.

Will I have to re-install my quick adjustments like firmer shifts or will they remain from the previous tune setting.

It is due for an oil change I know, but I was wondering if anyone could help me with exactly what I need to do and if there or any extra things I should do in addition to the oil change. I have been reading a little bit about the performance mods and from what I understood the first thing to do is to buy the Diablo Predator and tune a little bit the beast..

If I got it correctly, all that it needs to be done is to :

1. purchase the handheld

1. connect it to the vehicle

1. the "thing" will save the original factory set up

1. the "thing" will upload the tuning files

1. first mod is done?!

Did I understood correctly that the handheld from Diablo allows me to do some more detailed mods than the preset ones (but you have to know what you are doing?!)

I am looking forward to your answers..I am a completely noob when it comes to this...If you have some good links to some previous posts (I read some, but maybe I missed some good ones) please insert a link...

Does the Diablo Predator still work OK if I mod the car to run on LPG?

I'm getting ready to pick up a set of the dmh low pro cutouts but i'm a little nervous about the install. Because they are the electric switch controlled ones am I going to have an issue with a simple muffler shop installing these? I'm assuming i'm going to have to go to a more serious custom shop which means a lot more for the install. Any ideas on how difficult and much i'm looking at for the install?

New to the forum and have learned a ton, just would like to get a bit more info on cold air intakes.
Im and old PT Curiser GT owner and always thought that the stock intake was the best just remove the silencers and add a K&N filter and you were good. Thought being the stock air box had a port thur the finder, but other air intakes drew air from under the hood making them hot air intakes. If thats not the case which CAI do I use? AFE or the AEM.... will be the first mods to a 06 awd C next will be the Peradator , Thanks for the info
