Daytona Spring Car Show 2006 March 24, 25 and 26th

The Daytona Beach Spring Car Show is March 24,25 & 26. The admission at the gate is $30.00 for all three days and our LX "Show Within a Show" is Saturday the 25th. If your not familiar with the Daytona Show, there is usually 3000-4000 cars participating. http://www.daytonabeachcarshows.com/ . The track zipcode is 32114 for those who want to check MapQuest, http://www.mapquest.com/ . To enter you will use gate 50 or gate 70 on the Back-stretch which is Midway Ave. After they relieve you of your $30.00 they will take your picture which you get with a plaque and a Goodie Bag later in the afternoon. This show is a non-judged gathering of car lovers with like interests. I have gotten us added to the show calendar, scroll to the bottom of. http://www.daytonabeachcarshows.com/sclubs.html To be given the proper respect when signing up next year, we need to set the stage by making a GOOD impression with our showing of car numbers this year. Make no mistake, the powers to be will be watching to see if we LX'ers are the real thing or just a flash in the pan. I have applied for and been granted Vendor Status to gain entrance on set-up day to mark and rope off our area. I am going to make up a certificate that each participant will receive with their name on it that states; "I Attended the First Ever LX Show at Daytona". It will be framing quality, something one does not want to go without. Last thing, the LX area is between the 3rd and 4th turn. We will be next to the Impala SS's and they turnout around 75 cars. Just a quick update, one of our LX owners got us our first invite to the Daytona Car show and swap meet, if the proud owners of Chargers, Magnums and 300C can't show up in force and we get out numbered by Impalia SS and Mustang group the LX catagory may not be invited back. So just asking and hoping that we can show these other clubs that we have just as much if not more pride for our American Musclecars. Two types of people in this world, ones that has a HEMI and ones that want a HEMI. MOPAR RULES!

That's really too bad you haven't gotten much of a response from this to date rpk75. Have you posted this in any of the other LX forums?

Yeah I own a Charger so I hit the Chargerforum plus we have a group called CentralFloridaLX Club http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/...idaLX/messages but its in its infant stage. The membership is growing and one of our member was able to get our club invited to partipated Spring Daytona Beach Car Show & Swap Meet now the only number I heard was that the Impala club had about 75 cars last year and from what I heard the LX cars will be place right next to them so there been some conserns from the members that we want to have a good showing since I been to 2 events one kinda got rain out 6 cars and the other was pretty good for my first time going had 20 cars. But the only forum group I have not found or register with are the Magnums. But I am pretty sure we will have a good first showing for the LX cars at Daytona. If you know of any other forums Rambit either let me know here or copy and paste the the original post. Any help would be great
