Help would be appreciated!

Hey FL people! My name is Jason, in Casselberry (right outside of Orlando in case you arent in the immediate area). I am looking to buy a 300 very soon (as soon as I can sell my mazdaspeed protege privately). Can anyone give me a good line on a dealer and maybe certain chrysler-specific things I should know when negotiating with the dealers?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Jason...

Greenway Dodge Chrysler Jeep has about 20 or more 300 last time I looked. I bought 2 there for my company. If you go there talk to Eddie Sosa, tell him the guy that bought 2 300s (blue Touring and a Black Limited) recomended you. Im planning on going back soon and upgrade for 2Cs.

Great thanks for the help. I actually have been doing a good bit of research about Holdback and exact invoice and MSRP's to have a little ammo. I also heard that Internet Sales teams are more easily dealt with as they are normally concentrated on fleet sales and so in turn are more concerned with volume as opposed to $$. I sent in internet quote inquires on dealer-neutral sites (or so they say) and have received a call back from Greenway Dodge (David Rey) and a guy named Dennis from Central Florida Chrysler/Jeep in Sanford.

My purchase is of course contigent upon me selling my car privately first as they tried to really pull one on me when I attempted to trade it in. I have about $2000 in negative equity which I was prepared to put down but they only wanted to give me $10000 for a car that books at $17000. Being that I was already $2000 upside down, this would add an additional NINE THOUSAND dollars to the price of the 300 and I just would not take that much of a beating.

Ok, guess I am just rambling, but thanks goose for your info, I will be sure to do a little name dropping .

Thanks and best regards,

Jason

stunna's right

Research is key

Run the deal at first without mentioning a trade-in if they ask you during the deal just say no. That way you can work the best deal.

Once you have that deal set, then introduce your trade, you could say "maybe I would like to trade my vehicle - it's worth a good chunk of change". Your vehicle will be all clean and detailed when they see it. Tell them what you want for it based on locally advertized prices for similar models - take hard copy of 2 or 3 of the adverts to back up what you say " I want $$$$ based on these adverts - ignore the blue/black/red/ purple book information they will throw back at you it's just designed to bolster their position. You may not get exactly what's in the adverts, but at least you won't get "raped".

Keep in touch about the deal
