Changing oil myself - question

Do I need to put stock tune back on if I am changing the oil myself or taking it to dealer or both?
Peace,
R.

You don't need to change the tune if you're changing oil. If the car is going to be in your sight at the dealer when they are changing the oil, you don't have to change the tune. What you don't want to happen is that some hot shot at the dealer decides to hook up the scanner to see if there are any codes stored and decides to overwrite your tune. It's such a simple thing to do that I always reinstall the stock tune if it's going to the dealer for anything.

I don't see why you would have to bro. It's still the same old process. And if you take it to the dealership they shouldn't be messing with your ecu for an oil change.
