Battery disconnecting help

I have an 06 300c 5.7 and I need to do some maintenance can you disconnect the battery with no problems with engine coding or any ecu worries ?

Yes, you can disconnect it with no worries in that respect.

Depending on the amount of time it is disconnected, the memory settings for seats and your user options set in EVIC (auto mirror tilt in reverse, lights on with windshield wipers, etc...) will need to be reset.

I have a ECU memory backup plug. They pug into the 12V socket with a 9V battery & keep those things energized. Very useful.
