Hi Everyone,
I have a 2007 vanilla 300c with 98,000 miles. She is a clean and beautiful Florida car, but is having some issues as of late... When I come to complete stops that last more then a few seconds, the rpms will slowly begin to fall to around 500 then will become jerky (for lack of a better word) and in many cases the car will stall. This is becoming a regular thing now. I have noticed some specific things that hopefully will help isolate my problem. It
seems unrelated to filling it up with gas, it happens almost regularly now, regardless of if it has sat or been driven regularly or topped off with gas. I have also noticed that if once i'm completely stopped, I switch to neutral then back to drive, the rpms will return to normal and will not cycle into the aforesaid malfunction. Another odd thing is that when it does stall and i restart it, once i put it in drive it takes about 5-10 sec for the transmission to engage; this is irrespective of how long the car has been restarted and has remained in park. I should also add the car does not have unevenness or hesitation during acceleration or any bucking type stuff during normal driving, only at stops does it have problems. And there are no dash lights on. Any ideas will be helpful.
Thanks
