That should work also, but you will need to clear codes and drive for 50-70 miles depending on how much highway driving you do for the sensors to be in ready state.

Wondering if te fix is as purely simple as just replacing the sensor/sensors???

Either way I think the dealership needs to eat this one seeing as how they touted the fact that the car had all these modifications on it and THEY were the ones who put them all on. Granted, they are not located in an emissions testing county, so they simply disabled the rear O2 sensors and said **** it, but I am registered in an emissions testing county, so their work to the car kind of ****ed me over. Now I have a car that I can't legally drive until it is made right. I definitely think they own the responsibility of this correction to be made.

Dealership refuses to do the work to get the car to pass unless I pay them for it. Screw that. They let the vehicle roll off their lot without informing me it wouldn't be legal to drive with the state emissions laws, so after speaking with te state emissions authorities, they are definitely at fault and responsible to provide me with a vehicle that can pass emissions. In going tomorrow morning for a full diagnostic with the state emissions team and they are going to send a report to the dealership outlining what they have to do to get the vehicle to pass. It's going to suck that they will probably have to take some of these sweet parts off te car to do it, but at least I will have a legal car. Maybe the parts can go up for sale to those who aren't held to emissions standards. I'll post results once I find out!

Well, finally got the dealership to see the error in their ways... Waving the EPA $37,500 fine and getting the state involved helped greatly. I wish it didn't have to come to that, it makes me feel dirty to have to get that serious about this, but at the same time they were equally as serious about leaving me high and dry with a car I can't legally drive in WI.

I'll be sure to post once I get her back!

Well, finally got my baby back today! She's all back to stock except for the Mopar cat back. She passed emissions this morning, so it's a done deal now.

Still quick enough, and with the cat back it is still loud enough to sound good, just not as raspy and throaty.

I am selling the long tubes and mid pipes and O2 extension harnesses, so if anyone who doesn't have to deal with emissions or just doesn't care or plans to use their car on the track, please jam over to the for sale threads and check my posting.

Thank you to all who tried to help me through this! I appreciate all the help! Unfortunately Wisconsin is too "green" for me, so my loss is someone else's gain!

Joe
