Yup! Just switch it over. That's what I did.

I didn't get any key length cut down so I can't answer that.

Thank you very much man, I just searched eBay and ran across one auction that had two left for sale and this was the only auction I found. I got one for $13.50 and it is coming from Indiana Nadia live in Wisconsin so I'd imagine it will be here in a few days at most and I will report back on how well it works!

Thank you again!!

So I think im gonna buy one today along with the previous poster and try it out.

Yeah I think you contacted me! All I did was shape the tip on the swsitchblade a little bit with a dremel because the actual blade is a little longer but it works just fine, I had to buy a second one because the first one I got it cut at ACE hardware and the fob itself did not fit on their machine and only one side worked, I do have one of the first ones too , I color matched cool vanilla and someone on here made some Chrysler logo miniature stickers for whoever had those keys. I like how everybody looks at me all crazy when I use the key.

Still need to get mine cut and programmed. Thanks for the reminder.

What brought this thread back from the dead? Definitely a good one here. And certainly easy since it's now just a swap and no need to cut up the fobs.

Reporting back on my key fob.
Everything went well.
Took the key to my local hardware store, he cut it for 3 bucks.
It wouldn't work at first, cause it was too pointy on the end of the key.
I hit it with a small file and rounded the point off to make it look like the original, and it worked perfectly.
Put everything back together and it's all done!

Here is the link to the seller on Ebay. He said he will give everyone on the forum here 1 dollar off if you mention my handle.
I am not involved with him in any way, he's just a nice guy.
