Does this one come with the logo on the back?

I saw one from a different ebayer that had the Chrysler logo on the back
like our stock key.

I just bought the one you did and didn't see the logo one until after I purchased
it, so I am wondering if I should have waited to get the one with the logo if the one
you bought does not have it.

Not sure what you mean... "wind the spring"? Was it just a bad fob or something? You only need to open the top part to swap the guts. No need to open the bottom part where the key hinge is. Unless you have to take it out of the fob to get cut...??

I remember messaging him with my order and requesting a Chrysler logo... and I did get them. Although they look like they are knock off logos... but they are so damn small it's hard to tell. Think I might get some custom tiny badges for them.

I actually had to take the blank key out to get it cut. Everywhere I went nobody seemed to have a key cutting machine to accommodate the blank and the fob. So the only way mine was able to be done was remove it from the case. When I did there is a spring below the silver button that goes through the end of the blank and the spring sits in several groves on the bottom of the case.

At first I put it back together without realizing that I put the spring back incorrectly and when I would push the button the key would be released and you had to take your finger and pull it out the remainder of the way and put it into the open position. I pulled it apart and and tried the spring in the other grove and I had the same result. So I finally determined after two different positions failing that I needed to wind the spring to get it to have the proper pressure on the button/key interior to allow itself to eject/pop out with enough force to make it to the full open position. Maybe I just have a bunk fob but when I got it, but she works great now! Even though it was kind of a pain in the ass, but I always like a challenge.

I didn't ask about the logo before I purchased mine. I didn't even think to ask about it honestly.

It wasn't until I saw the other one on e-bay that actually mentioned and showed the logo
that I thought about it.

Today I bought a set of 3 small logos for two bucks with free shipping from a guy on e-bay.
This way, if my flip fob does not have a logo, I can put one on.

I remember the forum member who was making this type of flip fob for about $200 a few years ago,
and people were lining up to buy them, because there was no other option back
then.

These new fobs are great, and for less than 20 bucks, you can't go wrong!

I just got mine in the mail today. Came with the Chrysler wing sticker for the back too!

Waaay better quality/build for a FOB than my flip FOB I got a few years ago.

I just got mine in the mail today and got the logo also. I did go to my local chrysler dealership and they informed me that they couldn't make the lengths match so I went to Home Depot. Home Depot wasn't sure about cutting it also, so I went to a Locksmsith. The Locksmsith was able to trim it down a bit and cut it. Just got home and switched out the guts, and it works perfectly. Great mod to my keys and I love the new look!

Nice.

It doesn't really matter if the length of the metal part of the key is a bit longer
than the stock one when you get it cut.

As long as its cut properly from the tip, all that would happen is that you will end
up with a bit more of the metal key part sticking out of the ignition switch.

But its nice to have a Locksmith near enough to you that he could cut the key for you
and make it perfect.

Yeah he didnt even charge me so my key is pretty flush with the ignition.
