Just thinking... I have an SRT so I have the lovely foam air pump & fix-a-flat can holder in the wheel well.. Could hide the amp there.. Haha

Thanks. It's a work in progress, but I'm getting there.
The enclosure is a handmade fiberglass enclosure, but it wasn't custom. Got it on ebay. And good news - it's cheap!

AND, they make them for both sides of the trunk in 12". Just search ebay for "Chrysler 300 enclosure" and you'll see it. A couple vendors sell it ranging from $150-$240... same one... so... uh... go for the $150 one.
Since I needed the trunk space, a fender enclosure was really my only option. I was quoted $500 from the local audio shop to make a custom one, and I found a couple online (like Art of Noise, etc), but most of them were a minimum of $350. And then I bumped into this one on ebay, and for $150 it was worth a shot. And I'm VERY happy so far. The manufacturer is a company called NRG but I can't find info on them and all of the ebay sellers have no info. Somebody in my other thread said that it looks like Bassforms - and it just might be... looks darn close from the picture I see online.
One thing I should note - I did have a challenge figuring out a way to secure it in the fender area. The fitment is perfect and it is pretty heavy, especially with the sub loaded, but I felt it may want to tip inward. But I have found a good solution with a bolt/nut combo through the wall - if you go this route you can see what I did somewhere in this thread -
My audio/video build progress thread...
One more thing - the trunk floorboard will not open with this enclosure installed. Just FYI. I plan to mod it at some point so that I can open it.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
