Have you looked at the car in person? Make sure it is not a SRT Design.

I checked it out today few things wrong: the rear bumper was all scraped up, the rims had pretty bad curb rash, the passenger side mirror was broken and to top it off it smelled like it had been smoked in the smell was horrible. The best part I think was the asking price. The salesman said that the posted price was wrong and the true asking price was $24,999. I pointed out the the 2010 Camaro SS with 18000 miles next to it was also $25,000. Not that I don't love these cars, but for that price and those issues, at least I consider them issues the salesman didn't seem to think so, I am going to have to say no.

Damn that sucks. You should have just laughed and walked off without saying anything else to them. Expect that $24,999 price to drop fast once they realize no one will pay that much for such a poor condition SRT8.

SRT8 guys tend to drive hard.

But - most of us are fanatical about care and maintenance of our 'beastie babies".

It sounds like that one had an abusive owner . . . .

The price has already dropped $1,000 since I visited today and I pointed out the Camaro to my buddy and myself rather than the salesman. It was sad to see such a nice car with the damage that it had, but maybe it'll go to an owner that takes better care of it.

man, that is truly a bummer. if the inital impression of the car was a bad one, a deeper inspection would probably only make the impression worse. if simple things like a broken mirror and stench of smoke was that obvious, you know damn well they didnt take car of anything else either. so sad.
