The OEM Champion plugs are the way to go. There is no performance gain or increase in life by going to anything else.

NGK 5306s in both my Hemis. I've bought a lot of Champion plugs - never bought a good one.

Every Champion plug I've used in the last thirty years has needed to be replaced WAY too early. When I replace them with NGK or Bosch, no more premature failure.

Really hmm??? I've never used champion plugs I've used NGK's and I can't recall any problems of any sort but I know cars have they're likes and dislikes and this is my first 300C so I'm getting used to it

I have the NGK iridium plugs installed now ( good deal) but when I pulled the Champions at 30K to install them they were in great shape. A lot of people maintain that you should stay with the Champions because of the MDS system. I've put 30K on the NGK's and I'm getting an occasional cold weather miss at start up.
To each his own but next set will be champions simply because of cost/benefit.
And yes, in the past 45 years of working on cars, I have experienced failed plugs from Champion but it's rare.
