Help!!!!

i have a 06 300c. yesterday i turn on my car and it turns on with no problem but after a minute or 2 the car just turns off and 3 lights turn on. a red lightning bolt, check engine light and some other light. i took out the key, put it back in, started it and it did the same thing.

The 'red lightning bolt' indicates a throttle body fault.

This can mean many things from the TB itself to just a wiring issue.

Do the 'key dance' and the car will tell you the codes.

please let us know how you resolved this problem because the same thing happen to me.

i had it towed to the dealer yesterday. i will let you know what they say when i get it back but they said it might have to do with the TB or the PCM. if its that then they said it will be replaced for free.

"free" ? How's that?

Back in October of 2008, when my car was 3&1/2 years old (36 month bumper-to-bumper warranty) the lightning bolt was blamed on the 'throttle actuator' (more commonly known as the gas pedal) and cost me $401 to have it replaced (including the pedal height adjuster).

Good luck with 'free'. Let us know how 'free' it was.

the PCM would have been free caues its coverd under the emissions. my problem was the TB sensor went bad

so its the throttle actuator? is this a common problem with these cars?
