"free" ? How's that?
Back in October of 2008, when my car was 3&1/2 years old (36 month bumper-to-bumper warranty) the lightning bolt was blamed on the 'throttle actuator' (more commonly known as the gas pedal) and cost me $401 to have it replaced (including the pedal height adjuster).
Good luck with 'free'. Let us know how 'free' it was.
