$60,000+ for a 300C

Just released base price for the 300C in England is 32,995 pounds, or about $60,710. Glad I live in America!

Is it any wonder that a Rolls Royce costs SSSSOOO much? The British have such and inflated opinion of so many quality items, why shouldn't they pay accordingly for something as unique as a 300C? I'd hate to think what an SRT8 might cost over there.

I would hate to buy an SRT-8 at over $6/gallon of gas.

I don't think you can accurately classify the attitude of a whole nation, with such generalities. Ever watch the comedy program "Little Britain" you will appreciate diversity in the UK.

Me I love quality, quality in cars, quality in friends, quality in the information I read, among other things.

FYI HERE is an article on UK inflated car prices. Not just due to taxes, and a powerful motor trade, but due to an Island economy.

Seems like the 300C will be in the A$65,000 range on it's release here in OZ. That takes it into the US$49,000 territory.

The OZ spec 300C is supposed to be fully loaded, but having said that, no adjustable pedals, one way adjust steering column and probably some other bits and pieces deleted. Still unsure how they intend to handle the Sunroof, ie. include on all 300Cs or an extra.
