Clock when radio off??

I watched a review of the SRT8 Magnum on Motorweek and when the radio was off it had the time in white on the center of the nav. screen. MIne is just black. Is there a way to turn that feature on?
Thanks,
Joe

I have the same thing in my 300C, but with the same NAV in my wife's jeep, it displays the time. Strange huh. I'm not sure what controls it, but when I installed the NAV in her Jeep and first turned it on, it displayed the Chrysler logo. Then after it initialized, it realized that it was a Jeep and switched the logo.

I also have the WK with the NAV and clock. When you think about it, it really isn't strange. In the 300, you don't need the clock on the NAV as you have the jeweled round clock above.

Joe,

Mine (in my Durango) has always been like that. There is a setting that you can supposedly change. Go into the navigation screen, enter past the nag screen, go into 'system settings' and then into 'audio clock display'. It says you have the choice of a large clock or small clock. I tried changing mine and it made no difference whatsoever. You can try calling United radio in Syracuse NY. They are the factory service center for that unit. Their number is 800-448-0944.

In the system settings, the option of large clock or small clock is the time display that is on the screen when the system is on, not the clock when it is off.

Don't you have the round analog clock in the dash above the radio. Why do you have to have on the radio when its turned off also? Can't you read an analog clock?
