300c 3.5 55 plate

Hi every one please advise me! I'm going to look at a 55 plate 3.5 petrol tomoz with 99.000 on the clock it's up at 5500. I recently owned the 3.0 crd with no probs. any advice on buying the 3.5 tips. 99000 is that way two high for this engine. I'm pushing my limits money wise so av I to expect any nasty suprises buying one with that many miles. Any help will be brill thanks.

IMO you would be far better off with a 5.7 V8. They go far better, MPG is about the same and the v8 is pretty much bullet proof.

if your after a petrol get the 5.7 over the 3.5, as long as it has good history the mileage is fine for the engine
