guys, i have a chance to get this catback for 300 bucks used but in great shape, can you give me feedback on the exhaust , i have a heard that they got pretty bad drone...?
Not sure which one you are referring to but are there resonators at the tailpipe end? If so, the drone will be significantly reduced. If not, then you will have the drone issue when the engine enters MDS mode.
There are two easy fixes:
1. Get some resonators installed at the rear of the system.
2. Get a programmer that will allow you to turn off MDS entirely. The DiabloSport products have this feature.
That's a good price if the system is intact by the way.
pretty much all systems are going to have drone with the MDS system on...to different extents. pick up a predator...you'll love it for everything it does...the MDS delete to get rid of the drone is just a bonus LOL

I've been happy with mine. Very little drone on my 6.1 at highway speeds, and not too disturbing at WOT... If I am IN the car! Lol. Every time I let someone drive it and tell them to hammer down when they leave, it makes a very enjoyable disturbance!!! Sounds great!
