im in the market for a 300c i really want one that comes with factory hids is there a way to tell without actually going and looking at the car. i am trying to figure it out when looking at ads online. i saw something on this site about vin numbers in the stickys. i just dont want to drive all over to find one that has hids and dealing with the sales people. any help would be great

Well all the SRT8 6.1L models for sure came with factory hids and I believe all the Heritage 5.7L and SRT Design 5.7L models also came with factory hids but not sure which others did without actually checking them yourself.

The limited comes with or without HIDs. 2005-2010. The housings are the same, but the Valeo projectors are either of the Halogen, or HID capsule variety.
If I'm not mistaken, ALL 5.7L and 6.1L are HID equipped.

The limited comes with or without HIDs. 2005-2010. The housings are the same, but the Valeo projectors are either of the Halogen, or HID capsule variety.
If I'm not mistaken, ALL 5.7L and 6.1L are HID equipped.
The V6 models came with reflector style headlights and only the V8 models came with projector headlights. They did however change the front end on some of the 3.5L models during 08-10 to the V8 front ends with the projector headlights but I doubt those were the hid projector ones and more than likely were the halogen ones.
Also not all the 5.7L models were hid equipped since a lot of came with the regular halogen projector headlights but for sure all the 6.1L models came with factory hids.
One easy way to tell if the car has HID's is by turning on lights and you can see that they self-adujst their height at turn-on.

The Euro 300 C is different. We don't have the height adjustment and all C's are 5.7lL
For my model year, 2006 300C, HID's were an option.
