The Chrysler incentives apply to when the car is delivered, not ordered. Even though Chrysler has had the same rebates for months, the fact that their sales nationwide have skyrocketed leads some to believe they're going away soon.
My car was ordered Jan 1 under an incentive offer that was good until Feb 4th. If the delivery of the car comes later than Feb 4, then you're able to get the next months rebates, whether they're better or not.
I'm now told the dealership expects the new car delivered last week in Jan.
hmm...that seems kinda crappy to me. If you are committing to the car, and making a deal, they should get your deal written with the incentives available at the time the deal was struck.

Possibly but you must read the incentive, it might be just on cars in stock and not ordered. IF it includes ordered then the contract would have to be signed as purchase at the time ordered AND include the incentives. IF it was just an order for new car that is not the time of sale. I suppose you could order the car but the in service date can't before the build date. So there really are a lot of issues on rebates and ordering a car.

I'm sure this is going to work out fine because 1) dealer thinks the car will be in before Feb 4 and 2) sales manager is pretty confident incentives which are next announced on Feb 4th will be pretty much the same as they've been for 18 months.... but one never knows, does one?
I think the incentives are built into the price of the car so you think you're getting something back, but you really pay for it in the factory price.
For cars that need to be ordered from the factory, the incentive is based on "must take delivery" date, something I heard from everyone.
There are currently 3 active rebates for the car I ordered:
$1500 Hemi rebate
$2000 Regional (all US regions have this as NE, SW etc.)
$2000 Varvatos C rebate
Now whether the dealer offers all three remains to be seen. He has allotted two, totalling $3500 because the Varvatos rebate didn't show up on the Chrysler site until Jan 8th.
(getting that one should be interesting... more to come.)
Chrysler VOTS now has order date Jan 3, and is now D1 with an estimated ship date of Jan 22nd.
Edited to add two captures, showing factory incentives vary from one state to another. Calif gets $1000 more than FL at this time.

I got at least those rebates but I also got more rebates through a buying service so I really got a good deal. My car was a 2012 and had about 1000 miles so I used,, "even though it's never titled it is a used car" and needs full service. The owners manual states every 6 months for oil ". I had full service on the car even with the few miles due to it was well over 6 months as per warranty and owners manual. Then they threw in a few more oil changes.
