mad eyelids out of sheet metal?

wonder if one could make these out of sheet metal? (the stick on ones like VIP sell, not the ones welded to the hood). Would it stick on with double sided tape. Wish someone has tried this already lol.

Any diagram or anything on how to contruct/make these mad eyelids? I might be tempted to try this cheap mod.

Mrincredible did this years ago... had them welded in place, smoothed and painted... best look by far. He can be found on another forum if you wanted to ask him if he had a template... pm mw and i will tell you how to catch up with him. I know he had extras made for a short time, they went quick. He drives a camaro now but still stays active, whether he has a template I'm not sure. As for double sided tape... with metal... not sure it would hold at speed.

They were aluminum I thought. PM me your info and I'll send you a template. Remember thought the templates are flat and these need to be tweaked once fabbed.

^ your right Bob they were aluminium! So you think he could tape then to his headlights though? I guess they wouldn't be much heavier than the plastic VIP ones...

I have one of the originals ( Plus a hood with them on it-hehe)

I don't like the tape idea however. And we use a TON of VHB round here in all styles.

Plexi would have to be heatd and bent some. Might be more a pain that it's worth
