Nunie's comment that seems most 300's are black or white, I wanted a Cool Vanilla, so that's what I ordered. Never came, so I bought one I found on the lot. Bright Silver is what I have.
The Bright Silver is nice for not showing the dirt, and looks good all the time. I still wish that I had gotten the Vanilla, only seen a couple of them, but the Bright Silver's are all over the Great Northwet. I have to make a few mods, just to identify mine from all the rest.

I've actually only seen two DLR models 'in person'. One being deegee's '300C' at our last meet in Huntington Beach this past June....

http://www.300cforums.com/gallery/sh...cat=500&page=4

http://www.300cforums.com/gallery/sh...at=500&page=11

http://www.300cforums.com/gallery/sh...at=500&page=11

http://www.300cforums.com/gallery/sh...at=500&page=10

http://www.300cforums.com/gallery/sh...at=500&page=11

...and the other being a '300 base' model which my wife and I saw this past Thursday in Ontario, California. While deegee's appeared to be more of a 'dark burgundy metallic', the one we saw Thursday actually looked more like a 'metallic root beer brown'.

I suppose that the true appreciation of this unique color is dependent upon the present lighting conditions, as well as the particular angle one might be viewing this unique paint scheme from. Irregardless, DLR is a very unique-looking color and like Satin Jade, one of which I see very little of on the road to this day.

[I probably see more Bright Silver and Cool Vanilla in my particular area than any other color.]

A couple more shots of mine (with Hemeee's and FatChance's) are here and here. I like the color a lot, although the day it was covered by lots of yellow pollen blown from some nearby pines it looked truly weird.
