It is what it is. Moved to Production status means that the build order will eventually move to the line. But there are others in front of you...prior orders placed before yours.
The factory also builds vehicles in "batches" so "X" number of Varvatos models need to be scheduled before a production will begin. Is the order in "D" status or "D1" status?
There can also be "behind the scenes" reasons that can slow an order down like a Finance Hold on the dealer if it does not have the proper allocation to make a specialty order.
Hopefully its not an AWD Varvatos order because those are currently scheduled out.

Thanks for responding CC. The status is D1. Any guess on what that means?
^^ Yup and weighed about half as much, no power steering, brakes or windows, about one 10th of the wiring and no computers. Lap belts were optional and the car rotted away in 4 years. I remember those days to.

Your welcome Lee.
D1 is a "Gateline" status. Simply means that the order has been Edited and Approved for build, all the requested equipment is available and the next step will begin production. Once it leaves D1 status it will begin its run down the assembly line into Framing, Marriage, Paint, Trim, Quality Control 1 & 2, & finally Shipping. Assuming from your name that you reside in FL. the estimated shipping time from the Brampton Plant to FL is 14 days.

Ordered in Jan? Dang you're lucky! I ordered my '13 SRT8 back on 9/27/12 and still don't have it. Almost 21 weeks so far. I guess they built one, and the story I was given was it was damaged beyond repair while sitting in the yard at Brampton. Built a second one and just got a call that it is in transit and is supposed to be unloaded from the rail car tomorrow. Hopefully have it by the end of the week. Good luck with your Varvatos!

This Is Making Me Crazy
Overnight, the VOTS status went from D1 to G -"production scheduled" to "TRIM," completely skipping over Frame and Paint in the online status updates. Unless the car goes through the spray booth at 70mph, it made me curious.
I called the manufacturer and they said my 300S was .... I said "I ordered a Varvatos C Luxury, and they said no, it was an S. A supervisor at Chrysler checked and said even though VOTS had the correct order, an S is being manufactured. He was certain of it, and understood my angst. He recommended I contact the dealer, which I did. Dealer checked it and said it was just as I ordered it, and that it was in the Trim (G) stage.
So now, who is right, and what can I expect to be off-loaded from the transporter here in South Florida a few weeks from now?
What is the point of online tracking if it jumps 3 categories overnight, and then has two "specialists" giving me information 180 degrees apart?
So did the dealer confirm it was the Varvatos edition? They told you "just as you ordered it" so you have a copy of that order and confirmed what is there?
