Post My husband drives like a girl!

For weeks I have been listening to my husband brag about his supercharged CTS-V. He has the dam dyno sheet pasted on the refrigerator so I have to see it first thing every morning. The other day I pulled up next to my husband at a light in my 300C. He was sitting there reving the engine and inching forward waiting for the light to change. WELL I SMOKED HIM. I cut a great light while he slept at the starting line. I took him by about 2 car lengths right off the line. He had no chance to catch up because we ran into traffic.
He has not been the same since.

Mary

I love it!

Mary, you just made my day.

I have been hunting for a CTS-V owner to give me a run - street or track - doesn't matter. I don't even bother with plain ole CTS's anymore - just too easy.

And your own husband to boot! Whatca' gonna' put on the fridge now, Mary?

Kudos to you, Mary! However, I think you need to change your thread title because it only serves to insult the abilities of all women drivers in this forum who are fanatical about their 300's.

I sugggest that 'girl' be changed to wimp, wussy, tourist, amateur, or something along those lines.

cts-v...

NR, don't go looking for that cts-v too hard. My business partner here has a CTS-V, and its no contest. The V pulls on the 300c hard....My poor 300 has no chance of keeping up. (and I hear about it EVERY day, as his dyno charts are posted on the wall as soon as you walk into our showroom...)

Yeah, I've seen the numbers. On the street, the C pulls well from dead stop. The CTS-V needs a good launch and more than a few have blown out the weak link (the differential).

On the track, it comes down to the driver . . .
