Chrysler 300c CRD (Diesel)

some news about the euro 'Chrysler 300c CRD' with diesel engine, which should be in stores end of this year:

link1 , link2

link2 contains a "sound check" ... you can listen to the typical diesel "tuk-tuk-tuk.." sound :-) lol

That's great, too bad those Europeans get so much more than we do.

That 300 wagon looks so 80's German cool. I hope that sound check of the diesel was with the hood up, otherwise that diesel engine isn't quite as refined as some of the modern diesels offered by MB and Volvo and BMW.

I dont like the sound of diesel engines, neighbours brand new diesel Audi still got the same disturbing "nail" sound even with hood closed

Many people here drive diesel (and station wagons are also very popular), so the touring (wagon) with diesel is a very good combination for europe.

but I hope the CRD has a particle filter! *cough*

I want it.... Just like the MB320 CDI.... 31MPG? Easy power to be had because of existing turbocharging equipment? I'd trade my HEMI for that with prices the way they are right now....

God i love the sound of diesel engines. The best is when your inside the car and hear the Turbo Diesel engine when you floor it and while at rest.... It just sounds so badass

That's it, I don't think I can resist anymore. I NEED to do the front-end swap with my Magnum. It just looks too sexy.
