Considering a 300 have some questions

Hi, I will be moving in another two years and I will need a new car considering my old car is 12 years old and it doesn't have the space, power or features I need. I have researched many cars and suv's foreign and domestic and for all the things I want this car comes closest to it. So I have questions about this car and its features. The people on this website seem very knowledgeable and helpful so after searching for a forum for the 300 I have found this. The 300 I plan on getting is the C with AWD, the Hemi, the nav system, etc. So my first question is does the AWD with the Hemi work well in snow and slippery conditions?; the area I'm moving into is going to have heavy snow during the winter so I need this feature. Also I notice their is no visible antenna so does this car have a antenna built into the rear window and how good is the reception? Another thing I notice is that this car has a fuel door without a lip like my present car so does this car have a switch or lever to open the door from the inside? How is the room/visibility in this car? Is the trunk big? Does the beeper come with a button on it to open the trunk and does it just unlock the trunk or does it totally pop open the trunk? Also in the forums I hear their is a remote start is this a feature factory installed, dealer installed or is this something I would have to do after purchasing the car? Also I was wondering if anyone has the rear seat DVD player does it work well and can you have it with the nav system? I also heard this car comes with rain sensing windshield whippers do they work well? I never had the auto a/c either does that work well? Do the side view mirrors fold in? Also does the rear view mirror come with the auto dim feature? Finally how good is the fuel economy and does this car need premium fuel? I'm considering this car over a suv since most suv's fully loaded are expensive, aren't too agile and consume too much fuel. Thanks for the help and I am sorry if I wrote too much because I am eager to find out information on this car and since it will be awhile before I get this car I won't get to ask the dealer these questions for some time.

Go to www.chrysler.com and just visit a dealer. A TON of your questions can be answered very easily.

Well I went to the website it only answers a few of my questions and I don't plan to buy the car until I move out of my present resident's since we don't have a garage. So I can't go to a dealership now to just ask questions since they will expect me to buy and I don't want to be pressured. But thanks for trying to help me.

You're allowed to go to a car dealership and not buy. I will answer the questions I can.
AWD's ability - don't know
antenna built in - yes, reception seems fine to me.
fuel door - why would it need a switch? Just push on one end of it and it opens. A lot of cars are like this and have been for years.
room/visibility - big car, lots of room. i have no visibility problems (I'm 6 foot 3). Some people complain but I think they just don't know how to adjust their seat
Big trunk
trunk button on remots just releases it a little
Don't know about all the questions from here until...
auto a/c - um...I'm not even gonna ask how you've never dealt with auto a/c before, but the answer is it works like every auto a/c: well
rear view does auto dim, has a switch to turn that feature off if like me you don't like auto dim
Fuel economy? You want to get a 5.7 liter with AWD and are wondering about fuel economy? I wouldn't waste my time. I can't imagine the AWD version gets better than 15 or 16mpg.

You do not need premium fuel on the car.

The auto-sensing wipers work very well for me, other forum members have had problems prior to a software upgrade. Any new car built should have the latest software so it should not be a problem.

You can have both the NAV and rear seat DVD system, but DVD's will NOT play on the NAV screen...there is no way to get them to play on the NAV screen without a hardware modification to the system.

No problems with the antenna reception, but if you plan on tinting the windows, make sure you go with a non-metalic tint or else AM radio reception will suffer a lot.

I live in the Boston area and have 2wd car, it runs good in the snow, but I keep a shovel in the trunk just in case . You should have NO problems with the AWD version in the snow. Your MPG will suffer though, I get about 15-17 MPG city right now, you will be lucky to get 15 with the AWD in the snow. You should be able to get 20-22 on the highway.

The side view mirrors fold in, but they are not automatic fold in, you have to manually fold them in the old fashion way with your arms.

The visibility on the car does take time to get used to due to the chopped look and high beltline. I have no problems now, but it did take some time. I do recommend the rear parking assist as I use it on a daily basis.

The remote does have a trunk release, it pops the trunk and then you manually lift it. It does not fully open the trunk without intervention.

The trunk is big, if you require more space, the rear seats fold down to increase trunk size.

Yea I knew the nav system couldn't play DVD's by that I meant can you have both features in the same model. Thanks for answering my questions. Just one thing i'm still wondering on is the remote start feature. But you answered the majority of my questions and I thank you for taking the time to answer them.

Yea my car has a lever inside that opens the fuel door and my car is a old model and it comes with the a/c where you manually adjust the temp. Allot of new cars come with the a/c where it keeps the car at a constant temperature no matter the outside temp.
