Why so many problems?

Ok I have had my 300 base for 10 months now, and put 13,500 miles on it. I have not had any problems with the car. I always read the Problems/Dealer service part of the forum, but it seems like every post pertains to the 300 C. Why is this? Are there more 300C's on here than base, touring, limiteds? Are there just that many more problems with the 300 C? I could not afford the 300 C when I purchased my base, but as I read along I am sorta glad I could not.

I've had no problems with my "C". Overall it's a good solid car; You gotta realize that people who read and post on these forums are generally car nuts (like me) so we are probably a lot more in tune to what's going on with our cars than the general public. A slight problem with my car might be a big deal to me but your average buyer may not even know there is a problem. Hope this makes sense. I absolutely don't regret buying this car.

It does but it just seems like more people on here have problems with their C's than the others with the V6.

Well of course there are more features on a "C" so that means more things to potentially go wrong. But I still don't think the "C" is inherently a more trouble prone car than the V6 - - it's just that many V6 buyers are strictly buying transportation and don't fret over little minor problems, while many of us "C" owners are a bit more fanatical about our cars and want them to be perfect!

Bottom line on this part is those of us with C's tend to be more 'car nuts' while those buying the other models tend to be more 'transportation only' oriented and probably don't even visit car related forums.

Thats a bunch of bololgna right there. I have a 6 and I spend as much or more time working on my car, upgrading than people with the SRT or the C, just b/c you dont have as much money to buy the more expensive version has nothing to do with how much you take care of your car or if its just for "transportation". That really is a silly statement to make. I really do think the v6 has less problems than the C. Very few tranmission problems on the v6.

Dude, take a pill. Just because YOU are different does not make the buying population as a whole fit into your model. Get a grip and don't get so defensive.

Face it, buyers of models other than a C are typically more into looks and commuting than spending hours on-line chatting about their vehicles.

And you make this statement based on what? You dont know. I see just as many old rich guys who have no idea what a Hemi is as I do people who dont care about cars driving a v6. Sounds like your gettin your panties in a wad too. You just made a blanket statement about something you have no idea about. My model? haha I just said you made a foolish blanket statement, I have no model.

I am done with your mindless babble. Look at production numbers on 300's...then look how many non-C's or non-SRT-8's are represented here. Do the math.

You said..."I have a 6" which, by definition is a non-C, unless you don't have a 300 at all.

I made a simple statistical statement, YOU got all accusatory and belligerent...chill out.

I got a touring buddy. And by me saying words such as "bologna" and "silly" you think that I am getting belligerent? If I was cussing you out then possibly. There are a lot of "non-C" on here. Its a stupid statement to make saying people with v-6 dont care about their car as much as a person with a C. You have to see that. And to call what I have to say mindless babble and then accuse me of not even having a 300, then you are the one who is out of line. I didnt accuse you of anything either, I just said thats a silly statement to make.

I got a 300 buddy and it looks a hell of alot better than yours so what do you want to say now? I was just conversing earlier but now you got me mad about it
