Finally Got My C

Just sayin what's up to everyone, been checking out this site since I ordered my C back in August and I finally took delivery of it last Friday. Just wanted to share some of my experiences thus far. I live near Santa Barbara, CA and ended up ordering my C from Foothill Ranch Chrysler/Dodge, about 3 1/2 hours from me. I decided to take an Amtrak to the down and the dealership had someone waiting there for me when I arrived (very nice). I've purchase a few cars in my day but I've never had it so easy, from the time I arrived at the dealership to the time I was done with everything was less than 30min. If you want a great hassle-free deal talk to Paul Whitehead over in the Fleet department. From there I was off to Arlasky Performance to add some roar to the beast. I decided to go with the Zoomers after hearing such great things from the folks on this site and they were also about 10min from the dealership. Install took less then an hour and Ron was cool about letting check it out while it was up on the rack, the discount was nice too. So I'm off, looking forward to my drive home in LA traffic on a Friday.
I could never live here (no offense to the locals). The Zoomers sound great, not too loud at cruisin speed and very aggressive when you get on it. Plus the sound at start up is sweeeeet. When MDS kicks in the car sounds like what it is, a 4 banger with a high flow exhaust. This would be the case with any exhaust system though. Oh and another thing about the Zoomers is the look, IMO it is the best looking system. Nice beefy tips. Just yesterday I had Xpel 3M coating (ckear bra) applied to the front end. I opted to do everything but the front of the hood and the side mirrors. Since the C doesn't have a slant nose like most cars I really don't see any rocks hitting the front of the hood. The install came out perfect, at 1st I didn't even think it was on.
Well I'm getting tired of typing so if anyone is interest in a clear bra I'll post pics and you can be the judge. On a final note, I just like to say how good it is to have a site with such knowledgable people and hopefully I can add some of my own. Late..............
