Hemeee summed it up best though...
time of day might be an issue - as the person who has the answer might not be on...
so bump it back up and maybe it'll grab someone's attention...
or even better yet...
start a new thread specifically about what you want to know...

Hey Murph, back to the topic at hand, I suggest the answer be posted here in the thread rather than to Geordie personally, otherwise the original problem is perpetuated. If he wonders about the answer, I promise you others do too... by helping Geordie, you may be helping many others. To go one even better than that, Geordie can take the info back to the original threads so they don't remain unresolved.

fair comment. The only problem I have is that is was originally sent to me as a pm. I have since deleted the pm but I think that I have printed out the answer at home - hence I was going to reply later (phew, it sounds good. i even believed it myself for a minute).

Hi Geordie

No luck on the emblem removal procedure, but if the solution that freebird SRT comes up with does not work, Belmont certainly does know how to.

have you noticed the new forum ? It can be found at http://www.300cforums.com/forums/eur...0c-discussion/ and should get some support as more Brits & European types come aboard.

MTC

p.s. coy

Hey there MTC...

Yea.. my emblem removal query was sorted by Freebird SRT and I've seen the new forum which is an excellent addition. I sent a PM to the moderator yesterday re apparent duplication with the current overseas thread and the new forum. Suggested that the current thread data be incorporated into the new forum which could be more aptly renamed ' Euro Petrol & Diesel Models - Discussion' and the thread closed if that is practicable?

What Moderator did you send this message to? I'm unaware of it...

Just a reminder: If members post questions in threads but answers are provided via PM rather than posted in the thread, the continuity of info is broken...

Exclamation New Euro Forum

[quote=HEMEEE]What Moderator did you send this message to? I'm unaware of it...

Hi there HEMEEE...

I refer to the new forum 'European and Diesel Powered 300 - Discussion'.

'Niceidea' raised the first comment in that forum at 5.36am 24 Jan and 'Mathijskok' responded at 8.25am stating that he was 'moderating' that forum. I sent him a PM yesterday relevant to my query about duplication with the Overseas existing thread entitled '300C CRD (diesel) Owner Experience' and enquiring whether the existing thread could be incorporated into the new Euro forum and the thread closed to negate the duplication aspect. Also the new forum could be renamed ' European / UK Petrol & Diesel Models - Discussion' to cater for all models including the iminent Touring and SRT models. As yet 'Mathijskok' has not responded to my PM.

Hope this clarifies the situation?

Regards
Geordie

I don't believe he has the ability to do what you ask... if you'd be so kind as to PM links to the threads you feel need to be moved, I will be happy to assist.

Thanks!

Sorry...not sure exactly what you wish me to do. I am merely indicating that currently there is a duplication in that the same type of material is being input into the existing overseas thread re '300C CRD (diesel) owners experience' and into the new forum. I am reiterating here, but is it not possible to transfer the existing overseas thread data into the new forum which should be renamed as previously suggested, then close the existing relevant overseas thread?
