EVIC Question

Might be a dumb question... but I just picked up my 300C yesterday (absolutely LOVING it so far!)... and I see that some of you have the EVIC set to show only your speed on the digital speedo.

When I go through my menu - the screens come up in this order:

1. CCN Software Info 4/06/04 v 3.55

2. Spd= 0 RPM= 0 Eng.Temp= 0 Batt= 0 (just using 0's for examples)

3. TempAVG, TempRAWE, Pdl Pos

4. Compass Direction raw data

5. MinL= MinR= Lt= Rt= 19g Avg=

6. Last Chime Req airbag

7. Last Chime Req airbag
(yes - this menu repeats itself for some reason)

8. System OK

9. Some German stuff!

Should #7 be just the speed showing alone? Where in that order does it show for you guys?

Mine shows up in the slot BEFORE
1. CCN Software Info 4/06/04 v 3.55
at least from MY prespective. As I have MY speed
digitally displayed,and if I go to the EVIC screen, and
go forward..the next slot would be:
1. CCN Software Info 4/06/04 v 3.55

I think I know what you mean lol... you mean yours would be in my slot #9... this going forward goes to the version screen?

OttawaSTi, your software is out of date. Should be running version 3.61 - July, 04.

Addresses a lot of issues. The dealer should be able to flash it under warranty.

My '06 300C SRT-8 shows 4/12/05 ver 4.05 as the software version.

And yes, it would be on screen #9

2005 300c and its 06/11/04 ver 3.60 as the software is that a good version or do i have to update it.

Went by the dealer today to have them fix the passenger seat airbag warning and also do the flash update but they couldn't do either haha!
I have to bring it back next week and leave it with them for a day.
