calling any 300C/300SRT or LX near or in Pomona, CA 91768

This thread goes out to any and all 300C/300SRT or any LX that live close to or lives in Pomona CA. 91768. I have been in touch with Paul Ho over at www.Injen.com They are located in Pomona. Check out there site. They make some really great engine dress parts (oil filler cap, radiator, etc.) and a beautiful plenum for the CAI, etc.

In the first e-mail I asked if they are willing or going to make engine dress parts, etc. for our LX platforms (3,M,C).

We would do what ever we can to make parts but the problem is finding all the cars to do so.

In my next reply, I asked where in CA. Pomona is, I am in TX., I also asked him what he needed to get the job done for us.

Pomona is in southern California. We would need the car for 5 full working days

I am coming out to LA for the spring fling. I will volunteer FreebirdSRT to Injen for the 5 working days after the spring fling. Mon. 3/27 - Fri. 3/31. If someone close by there address can locate a Motel 6, Best western, etc., that I can stay at and get to Injen each morning by bus or taxi, that would be a huge help for me. I am just trying to get the ball rolling with a Co, who is willing to do the work. I have tried several fabrication shops in S.E. Texas and there answer is all the same. It can be done more cost effective to have them made in China. Sucks doesn't it. My guy said there set up fee is probably $15,000 where as in China the same set up fee is $5,000. I see his point. So I went to the aftermarket guys who are already making parts for other models. At least Injen wants to do it and willing to do it. I am all for a shop opening up there doors for the R&D work.

If someone who lives close to Pomona and can lend there car for 5 days of R&D, fittings, etc. It could get these parts being made that much faster. Probably from an LX owner that doesn't drive it as a daily and still has a vehichle to drive and lend there LX to Injen.

My PM is open to any questions, etc. or in this thread.
