Metal 300 Plaques for Sunvisors?

I remember that on the older 300M board, there was some vendor that sold metal plaques that covered the airbag warning label that is on both sunvisors.

Has anyone seen an aftermarket website that offers these plaques?

Thanks,
Lee

I saw it on ebay but tried to buy it, I couldn't find it anymore. If you do find it make sure to post it on the forum.

Plaques

I am pretty sure that any local "Trophy & Awards" type shop would be able to make the plaques for you. We have awards made every month for my office and there is virtually no limit as to what size, color, font artwork etc and they are very reasonably priced.

BTW: I used a blow dryer to heat those hideous stickers and remove them. There is no stickiness or residue at all. There is an outline where the sticker was. It is darker grey than the surrounding material on the visor. When I park I put the visors down. I figure eventually the sun will fade them to about even.

Good Luck,

Dan

We had 2"x4" plaques made for the national Impala SS club (NAISSO). It had Naisso at the top, then your name, cars name and membership number @ NAISSO. Most all SS owners stuck it on there glove box door. Might be something to think about for 300CForums.

I started to do the same thing Dan, but when I saw there would be an outline. I ordered those 300C graphic decals http://www.streamlinedesign.com/ that fit over the warning stickers.

If you wait a bit, James at 22Elite is trying to locate the matching headliner and visor material so the visors can be recovered in the same material, no graphics stickers, no outline to fade with the sun. James also made a custom pair of Visors for a member. Done in vinyl, they didn't like the way it tunred out, so I took them from James. Dan you can see them in LA.

This summer my 300 goes to James for more work. He and I are swapping front seats. He has a set of magnum seats and he is getting my SRT seats. Before you go, WTF. I am 6'4" 250 and my butt comes with the beeper like the big trucks have when they are in reverse, a Wide load, lol. After a few hours driving the recaro style SRT seat start making my legs go to sleep. The Magnum seat fit my tush much better. I am hoping to recover the entire headliner as well in either suede or leather.
Good Luck,

Dan

Here are 2 sites that sell the same Chrysler plaques.
I originally purchased these plaques, but later replaced them with the sticker shown below. All these pics are from Hemee's car. The third link sells the sticker. The sticker shown below is call the "Chr Wings Only".

Thanks Joey,

The "Chrysler" name and wings were the ones I remember. Thanks again for your links.

I got the Chrysler Wing stickers from streamline design..... very happy with them. Much classier than the ugly yellow airbag warning stickers they covered! I got a pair or "SRT 8" ones for my dad and I'm just waiting for a relatively warm day to put them on for him.

Steve, not sure which you ordered, plaques or stickers, but be aware that the Canadian labels are much larger than ours so there may be an issue for you. I would suggest using the hairdryer method Dan mentions above and remove the oem label before applying your new ones. (don't hold the dryer too close and keep it moving)
