on the smart beam feature, would this be hindered on a car with tint up that high on the windshield by lowering the light emitted to the camera?

Yes. Ice, dirt and haze will also affect its operation.

07s are arriving now, so far mostly fleet cars so mainly 2.7s and 3.5s. The only thing that jumped out at me was the new power window switch, which is also in the WK/XK. I did get to look at some training material for the new radios though, RES REC and RER. No more sat module, its built in now, as is U-connect but you still need the mirror upgrade for the microphone. The touch screen on the Nav unit articulates down at an angle to loads CDs and DVDs. Still no word on when these radios will make it over to the LX.

Looks like all new rims for several 07 models. New 18" Chrome clad rims for the Limited, Touring, Limited/300C AWD, and the 300C. The 20" rims for the SRT Design Package will be unique to that model, not the same as the SRT8 rims. Production for the SRT Design Package starts in December. 300C Heritage II production begins in January of 07. Luxury Group II for the 300C will include Adaptive Cruise, exterior approach lights, turn signal mirrors, auto dimming passenger mirror, and heated rear seats but is listed as "Late availability". Power pedals are standard on all 300Cs, Smart Beam headlamps will also be standard on the C. Automatic oil change alert and smokers package standard on all models. Inferno red will be an extra cost option for all models, but the Heritage gets a new exclusive color, "Cognac Crystal" and new interior look with translucent materials & "ShinEtsu" faux wood interior bezels.

MSRP

Base: $24,480
Great American Package: $25,945
Touring: $28,560
Touring AWD: $30,560
Limited: $31,555
Limited AWD: $32,855
300C: $34,935
300C AWD: $36,260
SRT Design: $36,430
Heritage Group: $37,135
SRT8: $43,070 including $2,100 gas guzzler tax.

I guess/speculate the new 300C SRT wheel may be less in width and not a 20x9 like on the SRT8. Perhaps a 20x8.0 or 20x8.5. The SRT uses a different suspension knuckle with that 20x9 and using that 20x9 SRT8 rim on a regular 300C requires a 5mm spacer because the rim goes inward to far and rubs. Can't wait to see it and the new 300C rim.

The new 300C rim I imagine will just be new cladding, like they did with the HE rim. Makes it very easy to change the look without too much expense.

One other very cool feature they added to the "secret" menu on EVIC models is a 0-60 calculator. It automatically starts timing and holds your best time. Pretty cool feature. Also a new economy screen added. Sorry if repost, I didn't read the whole thread.
