I'm a little surpized the Heritage group is $600 more expensive than the SRT8 Design group It seems bass akwards...one would think the "real" wheels on the "FAKE 8" would make the Fake at least $600 more than the Heritage??

Go figure...

Hey GT..

It would be great to bolt on the 20" "real wheels" that are said to be coming on the fake8 (Sorry..the "SRT8 Design Group" is too freakin' long!) onto the Hertiage hubs.

However, wouldn't there be some major assoicated with it? Even it it was a straight wheel bolt up..wouldn't it affect the speedometer, the Electronic Control Module, Fuel Delivery, Transmissiion operation, etc. ?

I'm with you, I'd love to do it..but I'm thinking diging up the cash to buy the wheels would be just the beginning of problem?

Is it just me or is there an extra 10 hrspwr listed for each model. As far as I know my 06 Magnum had 340 hp, but on that list it says 350hp. Is it accurate? where does the extra 10hp come from? I know the Daytona charger is outfitted with the SRT8 air intake and a differently tuned exhaust

Easy - the heritage has things the SRTDG won't have such as turn signal mirror caps and chrome o_O

Isn't the heritage supposed to get 20" wheels anyway? Seems all the option groups now get ya 20s.

Magnum R/T, Charger R/T and 300C w/SRT appearance group all get the extra 10hp, achieved via the performance exhaust.

It's hard to "compare" vehicles based on just pricing, you would have to go over each and every option/feature to see why one might be priced slightly different from another. I think manufacturers purposely complicate options to make it harder to figure out and compare between different vehicles.

They are not the same as the SRT8 wheels from what I am reading, the SRT Design Group gets its "own unique 20" tires/wheels".

The 10 extra HP some noticed is on the RT models if Im not mistaken, they have always been 350HP and I think the SRT Design group will also be 350.

We got one of the new radios in, on an 07 Wrangler, it has the same buttons that were on the mirror except now they are on the radio even if the vehicle is not equipped with U-connect. I would imagine you still push the button to start it, but it will follow voice commands once that is done just like the older version. The big difference for voice commands on the new radios will be with the navigation unit.

If the new wheel/tire setup is the same or close to the same height as the original nothing changes. When use aftermarket rims and tires you must maintain the same overall height.
