What sense does that make? It's not and SRT vehicle. Imagine if Mercedes allowed you to put an AMG badge on any of their cars.

They do, btw - the 3 digit AMGs are just cars with the AMG package.

Those cars with AMG Sport Packages never had AMG badges from the factory. Owners put those on aftermarket. Some of the older AMG Sport Packages may have only had AMG stamped on the rims.
