Make our own Build Sequence for Heritage Editions

The Top Banana Charger listing over at LXforums.com gave me an idea.

This will never be a complete listing, because there is no identifiable sequence number (ala Daytonas or SuperBees) and not everyone with a Heritage Edition is, or will be a member of the forums... and there will be '07s soon added to the list... but at least we can get an idea of the build order of our own cars (I think). The last 6 digits of our VINs does not indicate overall build sequence. Nonetheless, we can compare these numbers and find our vehicle's place, relative to one another of the same model type, in how and when it came off the line.

I know I'm not the first one, CHROMER, but I'll start anyway, and keep the list updated as new info is made known here and on LXforums.com. Currently, hystiker holds the earliest built H.E. identified on this listing. CONGRATS. And the latest build date/hour on the list for '06 models goes to Bowtie-Bri on 6/09/06.

Even if you see one sitting on a lot and you can get the VIN and Mfg info from the door panel post it here! The MMonth/YYear of manufacture is at the top right corner of the sticker, and the MMonth/DDay/HHour (MDH) of manfacture is on the lower left, right before the paint code.

The vehicles do not come off the line in exact VIN sequence order, so when comparing different VIN numbers the lowest will not necessarily have been the "first" built and the highest not the "last" built. In other words, you cannot determine exact build date order by the VIN sequence number. Below are a few examples I found to help you get started with your list...

Don't go out of your way, just for this... I thought maybe it was close. You could call them and ask for the info. I did that for the Banana Charger thread... our local dealer had two that I had seen, but I didn't know the numbers... I just called, told them about the thread... said it might help them sell... and he was more than glad to give me the info. In fact, called me back this morning (day later) to give me the second number.

its funny this heritage editions are suppose to be limited but i have seen more HE then i have seen SRT8's out there. i have seen 3 HE so far. one at the dealership(which was sold), one driving the other day and one at the place my brother works at. the one from yesterday i think was from the sarasota area. 2 reds and one black
