Smile Favorite Drivin' Tunes ...

Ok. You got a hemi under the hood, a smooth ride and a killer sound system. You're goin' on a 500 plus mile trip in your new C.

What tunes do you take with you?

Here's some of my favorites:

Radar Love - Golden Earring

Mustang Sally - Wilson Pickett

Bat out of Hell - Meat Loaf

Love is the Drug - Roxy Music

Ramblin' Man - Allman Bros

Let's hear some of yours...

Music

Good one.

OK it depends on my mood. I like Techno thump and base so thats what i mostly have on. Not that Rap stuff. I grew up on the Classic Rock so i have a little of that. ZZtop Van Halen Who Stones Doors Hnedriks Beatles you know the regulars. Hay that gets me thinking I wonder if Who's Quadrophenia works in the car.(Hmm) Then you have to have Frank, Dino, Sammy the classic real men. And to mix it up how about some Grunge. OH and Rob Zombie, Mansion,Power man 5000 spooky Metal. Some Heavy Metal names don't matter when you want some angry loud guitar.
So somethings from this list is what i would take on that trip.

How about ACDC? A great Aussie band.

Try "I put my love in you" from Back in Black album. "I've got the power, any hour"

I could just see and hear this track being used from a 300C Ad on TV.

If your making a mixed CD, be sure to add "I Can't Drive 55" by Sammy Hagar and "Highway Star" by Deep Purple.

If you like a more modern sound, Rammstein's "Sehnsucht", Prodigy's "The Fat of the Land" and Evanescence’s "Fallen" are all great drving CD's.
