About a second to 60, high 5s for the 5.7, high 4s for the SRT.

About 1-1.2 or 1.3 seconds faster in the 1/4 mile (each 10th of a second is about a carlength)

A 5.7 L MDS engine with 340 hp. C's

A 6.1 L No MDS engine with 425 hp. SRT's

This month is the best time for you to find out how much faster the SRT is than the C. Go up the your local Chrysler dealer (employee pricing) and dump your C and upgrade to the Dark Side, that is the SRT. One mash of the gas pedal and you can send me a thank you note later.

The numbers don't do it justice. Once you feel the difference you will understand. Come... join us. We are the brotherhood of eights. We will watch over you as you will watch over us. You can never go back, you will never want to go back.

Seriously though, if you truly can't afford one don't even test drive one. You will sell your soul to own one once you experience it.

It's not just the speed. The whole feel of the car as you drive it... it conveys a sense of " ". Not even sure their is a word that fits. Can someone else help. Maybe someone with fancy book lernin'.

The word "panache" comes to mind... but my book lernin' is still a work in progress.

My wife had a good descriptor... she said when I punched the SRT, she felt it in her stomach... something she's never felt before in a car.

Well then Mr. Happy did you finally get the SRT then today? Or am I missing something by your profile?

Oh how I wish... going tomorrow to look at one on the lot, then it's time to make some more rather determined phone calls to get certain people to move and to get me an SRT in my garage!
