I might not actually get my car until August but soon I may be able to build a reasonable facimile in my den. I have a new owners manual that I got on Ebay for $5, a set of shop manuals on CD ($49 on Ebay), I have my mesh grille ordered, and tomorrow I hope to order my premium floor mats and splash guards.

Is anyone else purchasing accesories in advance to satisfy the craving? If so what?

I have been tempted... I can't deny it. However, I am holding off until delivery. My wife is very proud of me...so far.

YES!!! Car was supposed to ship 5/21 then 6/11 now 6/14, who knows. I have purchased K&N air filter, weathertech advantage floor mats (premium carpet,holds 1 1/2 qts of snow,water), oil filter and trans pan magnet, DRL kit, laser shield front license plate cover. I may order the grille, debating on the full mesh or the mesh with the vertical center bar, which one did you order?

Magnetic drain plug - yeah, great idea! I got the full mesh although I debated the single split.

Check out the oil filter magnet thread or go to www.filtermag.com, search ebay for turbomag flat magnets for both the trans and oil pan/ bolt. I'm going to google Bently pictures and go with the grille that is closest to da Bently. Are you going to remove your stock grille or cut it out. I would like to be able to return to stock and put the mesh grille on ebay when I sell the car in 7-10 years, there WILL be a market for them on ebay like everything else I've sold.

Just curious, I was unaware of a kit being availabe for DRL's, where did you find it up? Link please. Would you happen to know what light will be utilized for the DRL's?

I have ordered but not installed (no car) the DRL from http://www.webelectricproducts.com/products.htm via a thread from MGD. We have some debate going in the visual mod section.

Yes, I too will be ordering the mesh grill with the center line, it was a tough decision from the all mesh.
I also will be upgrading my wheels/tires to 20" or keeping them 18" with different rims, adding signal indicators to the side mirrors, mud flaps, and tinting the windows just a bit.
I was wondering, would it average out the same $$ if I kept the factory grill and had it totally chrome? If it's even possible, anyone know info on that please tell!!

Where are you getting signal mirrors from? I heard dealers will have them in 2 months (probably next year). I don't like the idea of having door panels removed to run wires to the signal light. I am thinking of putting fender mount signals (I don't like drilling holes in my sheet metal either) as an alternative e.g. BMW 3 series teardrop fender signals. Ordered the full mesh grille today, still waiting on the car.

Yes, my dealer stated they should be in no later then Aug 1, I figured I can wait since my 300C isnt here yet. I'm in WI so if they arrive sooner I will be sure to let you know. Regarding the grill I spoke with the guy name Chris and I couldn't even order the mesh with the center line yet so hopefully I can in a couple of weeks . If I don't find info on chroming the entire factory grill.
