Hey hows it going

just came across a DUB intake for a 5.7 liter on ebay for like $400.00 shipped it says DYNO proven 20+ HP to the rear wheels and 27 hp to the flywheel thats awsome for a intake so was wondering what some of your guys opinions would be!!!!!

and the look of this intake is WOW!

my opinion is that it's too expensive and it won't make that much power.

I think the consensus from those that have tested "real life" extensively (e.g., GIFOs and upcoming MOFOs) is that CAIs (unless the filter is really huge) offer very little performance boost, but they do change the sound of the beast... a little more throaty at start-up, and much louder sound from the engine bay at heave acceleration or WOT... and you definitely have to say they look pretty cool when you pop the hood.

Cool

For me...way too much money for what you're buying
But, It's YOUR car & YOUR money, if you like it and you want it,
