300 limited 3.5

Good afternoon,

First off I would like to say cool site. I would like to get your opinions on the 300 I just bought.. It has really high mileage, 64,000 miles 2005, I checked the carfax report and came back clean and an old church lady drove it back and forth los lunas to Sante Fe all the time..roughly 180 miles one way.. The only thing thats wrong with it is the front bumpers paint is all chipped up from the rocks, no dents or dings. Runs brand new.. I bought it for 16,000 dollars... Should I have asked for lower??? They were asking 21,500... I will post pics when I get home.. Thanks for any replys and I look foward being on this forum.... G

Welcome g-cia35 and congratulations on your purchase. I believe you might now be the 300c forum member with the highest number of miles. Not knowing the current value, such as Kelly Blue Book, I can't say if you purchased it at a decent price. Besides the carfax report, it also comes down to the previous owner doing all the required services/maintenance on the vehicle not to mention the wear and tear on parts, etc.

64,000 miles is a lot for a 2005!!! That ages it beyond just the year. You might have been able to do better but if you're happy and satisfied, that's all that matters. The front bumper can be repainted. Unfortunately, you can't just replace the bumper because the newer replacements include the whole front fascia.

I wish you the best and look forward to seeing your pictures.

Welcome to the forums! That little ol’ lady was a busy one driving back and forth like that. Since it was to church those miles don’t count….you know that don’t you.

Seriously, not really sure the value of a Limited, but it sounds like you’re happy with your choice and really that is all that matters. So enjoy your new ride….post some pics!
